Day 7 - Water from the skies

I looked outside this morning and there were just layers upon layers of clouds peppered by blue skies. It was one of those skies which you juts know means it’s going to be a changeable day. Torrential rain for a couple of minutes then bright sushine as the clouds race across the the sky.

I love watching skies like this - seeing the different levels of clouds racing along at different speeds. It really does show the complex air patterns and winds that swirl around and above us.

From a higher vantage point (the Penshaw monument in this case) the land stretches out for miles but is dwarfed by the cloud scape above.

They are also particularly tricky to capture and edit, because they are just huge clouds of water vapour and there is nothing really sharp in there!

I decided to explore some the shapes and varieties within the skies. I do not know what types of cloud they are, I suspect thats a topic for another day as I feel that would be another rabbit hole to fall down! So todays is a very short blog and here is a gallery of clouds!
